Pay Range: $35.19 - $53.23 USD Hourly.

Purpose of Job:
Improves the overall health of the communities we serve by building and delivering automated data pipelines from a variety of internal and external data sources while providing superior customer service and advanced technical support to ensure quality patient care and user satisfaction as follows:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Implements data structures using best practices in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, SQL, and other technologies to support organization results across all functional units. Manages workload across multiple deadline-driven organizational project teams, providing timely, quality solutions that satisfy technical and business requirements.
  • Provides mentoring and guidance to junior team members to accomplish project and organizational goals.
  • Monitors, maintains and improves data pipelines and associated infrastructure in order to support organizational performance. Identifies, designs, and implements internal process improvements - automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery.
  • Proactively monitors database performance and capacity and resolves performance or capacity issues.
  • Effectively communicates technical analysis and interpretation to non-technical audiences both in written and verbal form to achieve organizational improvements and demonstrate value to the organization.
  • Performs peer reviews for other technical users’ work to ensure adherence to current CHAS best practices and standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned, including supporting the CHAS Health Mission and Core Values.
Qualifications:
Experience/Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred. Combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of degree. Minimum of 4 years progressive experience developing data pipelines required; understanding of performance, deployment, configuration, security, migration, and troubleshooting; as well as proficiency in building and optimizing SQL queries required. Previous experience building and supporting business intelligence/data warehousing solutions in a Microsoft environment; and knowledge of healthcare data models preferred. Experience in SDLC process with requirements gathering, analysis, architecture, design, implementation, testing, deployment and technical support required.
Skills: Excellent logical and problem-solving abilities, verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to work independently in a self-directed environment, contribute to a team, maintain a positive attitude, demonstrate very high attention to detail, and a commitment to quality while working in a high availability environment is required. Commitment to supporting a safe, respectful, equitable, and inclusive environment required. Valid drivers’ license and insurance required.
Physical Demands:
Required to stand, sit, and be mobile up to two-thirds of the time. Required to read from text and computer screen over two-thirds of the time. Climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching occurs less than one-third of the time. Communicating occurs constantly throughout the day. Lifting occurs about half the time up to 10 lbs. and less than one-third of the day from 25-40 lbs. Rarely is there a need to lift more than 41 lbs.
